You come back to more, not less. That single design choice changes the entire feeling of playing a farming game when you’re already stretched thin.

Cozy Grove is built around daily rhythms. You do a few small things for the ghost bears on your island, the game gently runs out of tasks, and you put it down. Come back tomorrow or come back next month. The island will still be there. The ghosts aren’t going anywhere. Nothing expires, nothing rots, nothing gets angry at you for having other things to do.

A Short Hike
You can’t even fail at A Short Hike if you try. There’s a mountain. You can climb it. Along the way there are friendly animals and no expectations. Stop whenever you want. Come back whenever you want. The game has no memory of how long you’ve been gone because it doesn’t care. It just wants you to enjoy the walk.
